About Holistic Growth

Holistic Growth offers gentle, guided support for people going through life’s big transitions, using Awareness-in-Motion™ (AIM). It serves Stratford and Perth County, Ontario, and offers individual sessions by Zoom to people anywhere.

Tagline: “From awareness to action. From insight to lasting well-being.”

Our message: “You don’t need to be fixed. You just need space to breathe.”

What Holistic Growth does

It helps adults who are in a season of change, who feel uncertain or disconnected, and who want gentle, reflective support rather than clinical treatment. People come after a divorce, a loss, a career change, a shift in who they feel they are, or simply because they feel “off” and do not know why.

The approach

  • Gentle and at your pace. Nobody is pushed to share more than they are ready to.
  • Person-centred. You lead. The facilitators walk beside you.
  • Trauma-informed. Both facilitators are certified in trauma-informed care.
  • Holistic. The work looks at the whole person and includes grounding practices and holistic wellness tools alongside reflection and peer support.
  • Non-clinical. It is coaching and guided self-understanding, not diagnosis or treatment.
  • Warm and non-judgmental. There is no wrong way to show up.

Who it is for

Adults navigating any one of life’s many transitions and evolving chapters, including divorce or separation, grief and loss, career change or job loss, retirement, children leaving home, a move to a new place, caring for a family member, a shift in identity, or a general sense of feeling lost or disconnected. People who are simply curious are welcome too.

Who it is not for

People who need clinical mental health care, a diagnosis, or crisis support. If that is you, please see the Urgent Help section below. Antonia can also help people find the right kind of support.

Experience

Antonia has more than 12 years of experience helping people through difficult life seasons. Kathleen has 8 years of experience.

The Team

There are two facilitators, Antonia Gattellaro and Kathleen Taylor-Nelson. You can book a free meet & greet with either one.

Antonia Gattellaro, MLC

  • Titles: Master Life Coach (MLC). Creator and Lead AIM Facilitator.
  • Certified in: Transitional, Holistic, Intuitive, Spiritual and Forensic Coaching.
  • Experience: more than 12 years supporting people through some of life’s hardest seasons.
  • Role: leads the guided holistic wellness group and offers one-on-one coaching. She created Awareness-in-Motion™ (AIM) and wrote the AIM Facilitator Guide.

Kathleen Taylor-Nelson

  • Title: AIM Facilitator.
  • Experience: 8 years.
  • Role: collaborated with Antonia on developing the program’s group material and bringing the program to life. She leads the holistic side of the work, using evidence-based practices such as meditation, sound frequency, crystals, and chakras, explored thoughtfully as grounded tools for well-being rather than trends. She also facilitates groups and meets one-on-one with clients.
  • Credentials: Peer Support Specialist. Trauma-Informed Care (Certified). Group Facilitation Certified. Aromatherapy Certified. Sound Frequency (in progress). Real-life, lived experience.

Helping you choose

Either facilitator is a good starting point, and both meet & greets are free. Antonia created the method and leads group and one-on-one coaching, while Kathleen brings the holistic practices side and also facilitates groups and meets one-on-one with clients. Choose whoever you feel more drawn to.

Antonia and Kathleen use these names to protect their privacy. They share more about themselves with clients after meeting.

A free 30-minute call by Zoom with Antonia or Kathleen. You can ask questions, share as much or as little as you like, and see whether the approach feels right. There is no pressure and no commitment. Camera is optional, and if you prefer the phone you can dial in to the Zoom call.

Guided Holistic Wellness Group

An 8-part journey through six simple steps: Notice, Name, Care, Choose, Support, and Integrate. The group meets in person in Stratford and Perth County, with others who understand, at a pace that respects where each person is. It is facilitated by Antonia and Kathleen, with Kathleen’s holistic practices woven in. Nobody is ever pushed to share more than they are ready to.

One-on-One Support

For people who would rather go it privately. Individual sessions are held by Zoom and offer the same gentle process, one-on-one with Antonia or Kathleen. They are available anywhere, including other provinces and other countries.

Not sure which to choose?

Try the short two-question quiz on the home page. Ask yourself whether you feel drawn to sharing the journey with others or would rather go one-on-one, and what feels closest to what you are going through. Then book the free meet & greet, where a facilitator can help you decide.

Pricing

The same service delivered the same way, at every level. Private one-hour sessions by Zoom have three levels: Supported ($50 per hour, for people on a tight budget), Standard ($75 per hour, for most people) and Community ($100 per hour, for people who can comfortably pay a little extra to help fund the Supported level). Everyone is welcome at every level.

A prepaid package of four one-hour sessions saves 15%: $170 (Supported), $255 (Standard) or $340 (Community).

Prices are in Canadian dollars and before any applicable taxes. Payment is by Interac e-Transfer, and the details are sent when you book. If the calendars are full, you can join the waitlist or choose the next available time. Pricing for the guided holistic wellness group is not published yet.

Awareness-in-Motion™ (AIM)

AIM stands for Awareness-in-Motion. It is a gentle approach, with a six-step path called the AIM Pathway™, that moves from awareness to action, and from insight to lasting well-being. It was created by Antonia Gattellaro, with Kathleen Taylor-Nelson collaborating on the group material.

The group program is an 8-part journey through the six steps. The work draws on reflection, discussion, peer support, grounding practices, and holistic wellness tools. It is not a quick fix, and it is never done perfectly. It is done at your own pace.

The six steps

  1. Notice. Slow down and notice what is really there, without judging yourself for having it. Awareness is where change begins.
  2. Name. Give words to what you are feeling. Naming brings clarity, not labels.
  3. Care. Meet yourself with compassion instead of criticism. This is what makes change possible.
  4. Choose. Pick one small, honest next step, not ten overwhelming goals.
  5. Support. You do not have to do this alone. Lean on the people who are really there for you.
  6. Integrate. Bring what you have learned into everyday life, not perfectly, just consistently.

In simple words

The AIM Pathway™ is a six-step path: Notice, Name, Care, Choose, Support, and Integrate. You start by noticing what is really going on, put words to it, treat yourself kindly, choose one small next step, lean on support, and then make it part of everyday life. There is no rush and no wrong way to do it.

Common questions about the method

  • Is it like therapy? It is a guided, supportive process for self-understanding and personal growth. It is not clinical treatment.
  • Do I have to do all six steps in order? The steps are designed as a path, and the facilitator guides the pace. Each person moves through at their own speed.
  • What if I get stuck? Getting stuck is part of it. That is exactly what the Support step is for, and the facilitators are there to help.
  • Why only one small step? Small, honest steps are more likely to last than big goals that feel overwhelming.

The book: A Holistic Wellness Journey

The AIM Facilitator Guide is a book called “A Holistic Wellness Journey.” It is a group and individual wellness facilitation guide built around Awareness-in-Motion™ (AIM), with six stages that guide people from awareness to lasting well-being. It was written by Antonia Gattellaro, in close collaboration with Kathleen Taylor-Nelson. It is in final edits with the publisher and shows as “Coming Soon” on the website. A Companion Book, a separate publication, is also coming soon. There is no release date, price, or pre-order yet, but you can leave your name and email in the “Notify Me When It’s Available” sign-up box on the home page.

Life Situations We Support

People reach out during many kinds of change, including:

When something has changed

  • Divorce or separation
  • Grief and loss, including loss that is not about a death, such as the loss of a plan or a way of life
  • Career change, job loss, or burnout
  • Retirement and losing the identity that came with work
  • Children leaving home
  • Moving to a new town and starting over
  • Caring for an aging parent or another family member

When something feels different

  • A shift in who you feel you are

  • Feeling “off” without knowing why
  • Wanting to understand yourself better, with no big event behind it

Whatever you are carrying, a free 30-minute call by Zoom is a low-pressure way to talk it through. Many people who reach out are in the middle of a big change like yours. Antonia and Kathleen offer gentle support at your pace, and you never have to share more than you are ready to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started

What if I don't know what I need help with? I just feel “off.”

That is a perfectly good place to start. You do not need to have it all figured out before reaching out. Antonia and Kathleen will help you notice and name it, at your own pace.

How do I get started?

Book a free 30-minute meet & greet by Zoom with Antonia or Kathleen. You will talk about what you are going through, and together you will work out whether the guided holistic wellness group or one-on-one support feels like the better fit.

Is the meet & greet really free?

Yes. It is a free 30-minute call, and there is no obligation to book anything afterward.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. You can show up as you are. Some people like to jot down a few questions first, which is fine, but it is never required.

What if I try this and it is not for me?

That is okay too. The free meet & greet is there so you can ask questions and get a feel for things, with no pressure and no commitment. You decide what feels right.

What this is, and is not

Is this therapy?

No. Holistic Growth offers coaching and guided support for self-understanding and personal growth. It is not clinical treatment or diagnosis. If you are looking for clinical mental health care, Antonia can help point you toward the right kind of support.

What is the difference between coaching, counselling, and peer support?

Counselling and therapy are clinical services provided by regulated professionals. Coaching, like this, focuses on self-understanding, moving forward, and building support. Peer support draws on shared, lived experience. Both Antonia and Kathleen are trained as Peer Support Specialists.

Do I have to share things I am not ready to talk about?

Never. You share only what feels comfortable, when it feels comfortable. This is your process, at your pace.

Is this only for people going through divorce or loss?

Not at all. Those are common reasons people reach out, but this space is for anyone in a season of change, such as a career shift, a shift in who you feel you are, or simply wanting to understand yourself better.

Are you trauma-informed?

Yes. Both Antonia and Kathleen are certified in trauma-informed care. That means going at your pace, explaining what is happening, and never asking you to relive anything.

Is what I share confidential?

Your privacy matters to Antonia and Kathleen. For specifics about how information is handled, please ask at the meet & greet.

Booking and technology

Do I need a phone number or a video camera to join?

No. Everything is by Zoom, and your camera is always optional. Audio only is perfectly fine. If you would rather not use a computer, you can dial in to the Zoom call by phone.

Can I choose who I speak with?

Yes. You can book with either Antonia or Kathleen.

How do I change or cancel my booking?

Use the link in your confirmation email. If you cannot find it, use the contact options on this website and a person will follow up.

Will you record the sessions?

Details on this are not published yet. Please ask at the meet & greet.
