What if one of the hardest parts of reaching out for support is simply not knowing what will happen when you do?
Many people sit with those questions for weeks. You might wonder what you’ll be asked, whether you’ll have to explain everything, or whether someone will try to talk you into something before you’re ready. It makes sense to hesitate when you don’t know what to expect. In the meantime, though, what you’re carrying can start to feel a little heavier.
If that sounds familiar, this post is for you. We’ll walk you through what usually happens in a free Meet & Greet call, from booking your time to saying goodbye. Knowing what to expect may help the first step feel a little gentler.
It starts with one small choice
Visit the Contact page on our website when you’re ready. You can choose to book with either Antonia or Kathleen, then follow the simple steps to find a time that works for you.
The call is on Zoom, and your camera is optional. If you’d rather not use video at all, you’re welcome to join the Zoom call by phone instead.

There’s nothing to prepare and no need to have everything figured out beforehand. You’re welcome to come exactly as you are, even if that means feeling tired, unsure, or a little nervous.
The first few minutes: a soft landing
We’ll begin with a simple hello. Whoever you booked with will tell you a little about themselves and explain how the 30 minutes will go. There’s no rush and no script to follow.
For many people, knowing what to expect can help them feel a little less tense.
The middle: what brought you here
Then we’ll ask what brought you here. Maybe nothing is wrong. Maybe you just want to understand yourself a little better, grow as a person, or make a few changes in your life. You might also be going through a divorce, a loss, retirement, a move, or your kids leaving home. Or maybe something just feels “off,” and you can’t quite put your finger on it.
You decide how much you’d like to share. A few sentences are plenty. So is saying, “I’m not sure yet.” You don’t need to have the right words before the conversation begins. We can start wherever you are.
We’ll listen. We won’t pick you apart, put a label on you, or tell you what’s wrong with you. You’re a whole person, not a problem to be fixed.
A first look at the Awareness-Integration Method (AIM©)
Partway through the call, we’ll give you a simple first look at AIM©, the approach that guides our work. It has six connected steps. They happen in order because each one helps make the next one possible. You don’t need to understand or remember them all right now. You may simply notice that one feels familiar:

- Notice what’s going on inside you, without judging it.
- Name it, so you have words for what you feel and need.
- Care for yourself with kindness instead of being hard on yourself.
- Choose one small next step that fits who you are.
- Support, because you don’t have to do this alone.
- Integrate by using what helps in your everyday life and coming back to it when you need it.
AIM© isn’t a race, and there’s no finish line. The steps happen in order because each one helps you get ready for the next: you notice what’s going on, name it, care for it, choose one small step, reach for support, and keep using what helps. You can take your time. If you’re not sure which step you’re at, that’s okay. We can gently explore it together.
We offer coaching and education, not therapy or medical care, and we don’t diagnose people. We’ll be straight with you about what we can and can’t offer. If another kind of help may suit you better, we’ll say so with care. Then you can decide what feels right for you.
Your turn to ask
This is your time too. You’re welcome to ask how sessions work, how often people meet, what they cost, or whether we’re the right fit for you. Every question is welcome, even the ones that feel a little awkward to ask.
The last few minutes: no pressure
We’ll finish by talking about possible next steps. You don’t have to decide anything during the call. You can take your time and think it over. If you choose not to go any further, that’s completely okay.
What one conversation can offer
A Meet & Greet won’t solve everything in half an hour, and we’d never promise that. What it can offer is a little more clarity about where you are, what kind of support may help, and whether one small next step feels right for you.
If you’ve read this far, you’ve already taken a small step toward finding out what support could look like. That matters. You don’t have to take the next step today. When you’re ready, you’ll know a little more about what to expect.
If and when it feels right, you can visit our Contact page to book a free 30-minute Meet & Greet with Antonia or Kathleen. We’ll listen, answer your questions, and help you decide what feels right for you.
